Please read this disclaimer carefully before using DNSChecker.ca.
DNSChecker.ca is an independent, privately operated DNS tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any other DNS checking service, domain registrar, hosting provider, or internet company. Company, product and service names mentioned on this site (including Google, Cloudflare, CIRA, Quad9 and others) belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe their services.
DNS propagation results provided by DNSChecker.ca reflect the state of DNS as seen by selected public DNS resolvers at the time of the query. Results may differ from what other resolvers, users in specific locations, or different tools report due to the distributed nature of the DNS system and caching.
We do not guarantee that results represent the complete global propagation state of any DNS record. DNS propagation is inherently variable and depends on factors outside our control including TTL values, ISP caching behavior, and geographic distribution of DNS infrastructure.
IP lookup results show who an address block is assigned to in the regional internet registries; they are not a physical location. The approximate location shown for your own IP is an estimate and can be wrong. WHOIS and domain availability results come from official registry (RDAP) data at the time of the query and may be incomplete or delayed; confirm availability with a registrar before relying on it.
Content on DNSChecker.ca, including blog articles and guides, is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional technical, legal, or business advice. Always consult qualified professionals for critical infrastructure decisions.
Any changes you make to your DNS configuration based on information from DNSChecker.ca are made at your own risk. We are not responsible for website downtime, email disruption, or other issues resulting from DNS changes you make.
Our tools query third-party services: public DNS resolvers (including Google Public DNS, Cloudflare, Quad9 and CIRA Canadian Shield), the official domain and IP registries (RDAP), and Cloudflare for hosting and for the approximate location shown for your own IP. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or changes to these third-party services.
